Blue Streaks on Bikes!

Thursday, April 27, 7-8 p.m.

Do you love spin classes, or have you ever wanted to try one? The Magnificat Alumnae Board and Harness Cycle have partnered to host this fun, high-energy fundraiser for the Angels in Blue fund on Thursday, April 27 from 7-8 p.m. The fee to participate is only $20, and it includes the class, shoe rental, towels and a $10 donation to the Angels in Blue fund. There are only 40 spots available--this event will sell out quickly. Register online here by April 19 by creating an account on the Harness Cycle website, and don’t forget to bring water. Bring extra cash or a credit card to purchase your chance to win one of three Harness Cycle packages worth $100; raffle tickets will be $5 each, 3 for $10 or an arms-length for $20. Many thanks to Anne (Grady) Hartnett ’02, owner of Harness Cycle, for working with us to host this event to help Magnificat! We’re grateful, too, to Nomad Culinary and Nooma who will provide fantastic post-spin beverages and snacks.

Corks and Canvas II

Monday, May 1, 6-9:30 p.m. in the Marian Commons 
(Doors open at 6p.m. Painting begins at 6:30 p.m.)

The Alumnae Board’s Corks and Canvas II has been rescheduled for Monday, May 1 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. $35 registration fee includes a gift to the Angels in Blue Fund, soft drinks, snacks and all of the supplies needed to create your own sunflower masterpiece. Artist Kali Gibbons ’09 will guide you step by step to create your very own sunflower painting. BYOB if you prefer alcoholic beverages. Corks and Canvas was first held in April 2016 and sold out in a just a few days. This event is a lot of fun, and it’s all for a good cause—so bring your friends, bring your mothers or grandmothers! Register online below by April 17 to secure your spot. Be sure to bring a few extra dollars to the event to purchase raffle tickets for fantastic prizes. Doors will open at 6 p.m.
